Bring back the dignity of a rural child

The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds with the aim of buying basic school necessities to donate to Schools surrounding our communities. Initially in the past 2 years we donated to 3 Schools which we had chosen within our communities, the aim has always been to reach as many as possible as the challenge is the same in our rural communities. On this year's compaign we have decided to add another school as our fourth school in trying to reach as many as possible hoping that we continue to add more in future.

 

Many young pupils in our communities are coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, where they either go to school wearing improper uniform or without shoes nor even have means to buy basic consumestic products.

Accordingly we have decided to host an annual running festival to raise funds towards these needs. This eveny started in 2021 on Christmas Day and is happening again on 25 December 2023.

We believe that charity begins at home hence we are doing this in our community with the hope that in  future we will reach as many communities as possible because this is a challenge to most people especially those living in rural areas. 

We have identified four surrounding schools that will benefit from this initiative, namely; Mthentu PS, Zwelinzima PS, Tyhalara JSS and Ndibela JSS. We will do this with the involvement of our Traditional Leaders (Chiefs) together with the School Principals, Ward council members and School Governing Bodies.

"Change begins with me", if each one of us can have that in mind our the world would be a better place.  

Together we can make a difference!!!!!
