Hi my name is Shani Sampson and I am from a small town called Beaufort West. Becoming a social worker in South Africa feels like answering a heartfelt calling. I'm drawn to this path by a profound sense of compassion, eager to make a real difference in my community. South Africa's diverse landscape comes with its unique social challenges – poverty, inequality, and healthcare disparities. In the face of these issues, I see an opportunity to advocate for the vulnerable and marginalized, to be a catalyst for positive change. The richness of our cultures and the resilience of our people inspire me. I envision myself playing a role in empowering individuals and families, offering support, and contributing to the overall well-being of my fellow citizens.
