Miane Medical Funding Campaign

This is Miané's story:

I struggled for 5years to fall pregnant. After alot of crying and praying (and medication) I found out that I was expecting. Everything was well until the 24the week of pregnancy where my gynae discovered that the baby's left ventrical was enlarged. i was sent to the fetal assesment centre. The professor there recommend that I abort pregnancy. He said Miané would live for 18 months and that she would be in a wheelchair if she would survive and she would most likely be a "vegetable". I then went for second opinions.  Another Dr said Miané would have Mild Dandy Walker Varient and others said she had Golden ha syndrome. Through all this they picked up that Miané's cerebelum is 2mm smaller than normal. They did an MRI while I was pregnant. She refused to abort her child I waited so long for. Miané was born 7 January 2016, she was in NNICU for 11days. There too a MRI was done aswell as a EEG. She had her first eye operation at 4 months due to cysts on het eyes, there was said that they wanted to remove het one eye. I never gave up and I threw eyedrops into Miané's eyes every 2hrs 24/7. 

Miane was declared blind after her second eye operation.

She is 8 years,  she is unable to sit or keep her head up by herself. She has therapy every week, She cant drink out of a bottle because she cant suck and has to be fed with a syringe and one feeding can take up to an hour. 

We have now inserted the Micky tube 

Due to all these difficulties I resigned my job to be with my child.

Miane has recently been having "seizers", Unconfirmed, as we still need to gather the funds to see her Neurologist.  We are so so worried and don't know what to expect. 

There will be a lot of Drs appointments and eegs and more. So please if any one can support us by donating another thing. The smallest amount will make a difference.
