A Ballerinas New York Dream 69060 Campaign
Would you like to support a young girl's dream?My daughter, Kayla Griffin, a talented 13 year old ballerina of Betty Blake Academy of Dance who has been dancing since the age of 3, has received a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to New York in the 2024 July holidays to dance among the best talent in the world.
Kayla recently performed in the American Academy of Ballet Performance Awards in Durban South Africa, where she received the prestigious Mignon Furman award by an international judge and an invitation to attend the AAB Summer School in New York.
Unfortunately Kayla missed the opportunity to go previously due to limited funds and now that the opportunity has presented itself again (through Kayla's sheer commitment, passion and dedication to the love of dance), as her mom I am appealing to the love, support, generosity and kindness of those near and far to consider offering a donation towards our goal. Whether an individual donation or a corporate sponsorship, we are relying on public support to make this happen.
The funds will be used to pay for her weeks accommodation and 3 meals per day, class registration as well as return flights.
