A Majorette with a GOAL Campaign

Making drum majorettes part of my priorities started back in 2013 when I was in grade 4.So far I dedicated 11 years of my life and every year I would gain knowledge and elevate my skills in the variety of props there is. Being a drum majorette made me realize many things and one of those are:" If you fall;get back up and finish the race."

In the amount of props there is to work with, however I do not have a favorite prop. As for me I love learning new things doesn't matter which prop it is. This year I gained interest in a flag and a set of double flags, whereas I started listening to music and would work out a display.

In my tenth year,on September, 24 2022 I received my WP awards and had the opportunity to be part of the provincial team at the National Championship in Cape Town this year. In the equivalent year November 2022 I received my SA awards as well which was and still is a huge privilege for me as it was not my first time trialing for my SA awards. I would have been honored if I could've be part of the athletes who represented South Africa in Croatia but due to financial issues I couldn't. However that is the reason I'm raising funds to be part of the national team representing South Africa at the IAM World Cup Of Majorettes in July 2024 taking place in Agen (France).

As I developed skills and my talent I displayed it in some categories and achieved many such as :

1. Pom solo : Provincials 3rd  Nationals 4th
2. Flag solo : Provincials 3rd Nationals 3rd
3. Pom trio : Provincials 1st Nationals Silver achievement
4. Flag trio : Provincials 1st Nationals 3rd

Many years went by and my perspective about being a majorette changed. At first for me it was about the awards and winning but now it's about the sisterhood and the love the sport adds onto your life as an athlete.

Me being a 21 year old that's unemployed I would highly appreciate each and everyone's support as this funds will be going towards the booking of my flight back and forth, accomodation and meals, bus transport in France and for uniforms. Be the supportive human being and help me reach a goal in life as a drum majorette.THANKS !
