Help Rescue Sushi Campaign

Dear friends,

I'm Rachel Smith, the parent of Sushi. Last Saturday, I received a heart-wrenching call that no one should ever have to answer, my beloved cat Sushi had been hit by a car. Rushing to the animal hospital at 1 in the morning, I found him in shock with blood streaming from his mouth, an image that no pet owner should endure.

Currently, Sushi is receiving essential care with a drip containing fluids, antibiotics, and pain medication, resulting in a weekend bill of R6000. However, the vet recommends a significant deposit of R20,000 for potential surgery. I'm already stretched beyond my means and devastated at the thought of losing Sushi due to financial constraints. Sushi, with his broken jaw, is awaiting further guidance from a dental specialist on Monday. 

His gentle nature has brought immense joy to my life and others who've had the privilege of knowing him. Regrettably, I face the heartbreaking reality that without financial assistance, I may have to make the impossible decision to let him go.
