Bongane's Tuition fundraising

My name is Onias Bongane Khumalo, student number 2016423580 and I am a former student of UFS Qwaqwa campus. I completed my first degree (Bachelor of Art ) in 2020 and my second qualification (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in 2021. I am a qualified teacher still seeking for employment and I'm majoring with Business Studies and isiZulu (Senior and FET phase)

 

I come from an unfortunate and impeded background. I was raised in Wasbank Ebusi Village by my maternal grandparents. My mother departed this life when I was four years old, and I never met my father, I have no idea what he looks like nor what his love can do for me all my life. 

 

I have been unemployed for two years and I am having trouble getting a job because my certificate and academic results are being held by the institution I enrolled in. I currently owe R63000 and the interest is compounded monthly.

 

I received NSFAS funding for my first degree (B.A). Unfortunately, when I finished my PGCE in 2021, NSFAS was no longer funding PGCE or second degrees. As a result, I was unable to pay outstanding fees. 

 

I have been applying for teaching posts and I've been called several times for interviews, but they can't hire me because I don't have proof that I am a qualified teacher. This fundraising will help me a lot and I will be so honored by anyone who can  help, no matter how much. Please help me fulfill my dream of teaching, impacting and inspiring young minds. 

 

By me getting a job; this help me better my unpleasant situation at home, my community proud and it will also be a beacon of hope to the only woman who is still carrying me to date, my dear grandmother. All these hopes and aspirations can only be fulfilled if I am able to settle my academic debt by the help of good Samaritans.
