In Memory of Dr Sandeep Sirothia Campaign
It is with a sense of great sadness that we announce the passing on of Dr Sandeep Sirothia, a Senior Astronomer with the Radio Astronomy Group (RARG) at SARAO, and an honorary Senior Research Associate at the Rhodes Centre for Astronomy Techniques and Technologies (RATT). He joined RARG on 10 April 2014, and was thus the longest-serving member of our team.Sandeep will be mourned as a husband, father, friend, colleague, mentor, teacher, and overall radio astronomer. He is survived by his wife Ashwini, and his daughters Asmi and Astha.
