HELP DEAF MOTHER SAVE CHILD Campaign
My name is Nombulelo Zaisa. I am a deaf single mother. I use sign language to communicate but can speak as I learned the skill over the years.I am staying in Port Elizabeth. I have 2 children, of which one who also has a disability. I have financial problems as I am a single parent and have no support.
The biggest problem is my youngest son needs to complete his traditional initiation school of going to "the bush". However, my financial stress does not allow me to send my son away for initiation. I have no money to supply him with food or clothes.
I really need your help please. I can't cope with all the stress and the pressure of explaining to my son why I can't send him to initiation is frustrating. My son is devistated that he will not go and has been expressing suicidal thoughts because of fear that he will not be accepted in his community.
