Underwaterhockey World Championship Campaign

My name is Nico Bos and I have been playing underwaterhockey since I was 10 years old. I am a versatile athlete who loves to compete in all sorts of sports from golf, tennis, and swimming to rugby. I, however, love the challenge that underwaterhockey presents to me as an athlete, both physically and mentally.

I believe that it is on the shoulders of those who worked tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to establish underwaterhockey in South Africa that our team stands. Through their effort our team have this wonderful oppurtunity to represent our country on an international stage.

My dream is to one day carry the torch further and become an Underwater Hockey coach myself.

It will be my privilege to honor those who made this opportunity possible, my father who taught me a love for the sport, and those athletes who inspired me as a young boy to reach higher and to fight harder for the dream:  making the Men's Under 19 team for the World Championship. 

I hope I can represent their efforts with courage and dedication and that you will join our journey with your support.
