PLEASE HELP ME GET A PLACE TO STAY Campaign

My name is Mlondolozi Njoko from Kwazulu-Natal, Dannhauser currently in Free State, Bochabela. I'm a promising long-distance athlete who have multiple Athletics Free State (AFS) provincial colours for cross country and road running.

I was enrolled at the University of the Free State studying BAgric Majoring in Agricultural Management. January 2021, I lost my grandmother(paternal side) who was supportive financially and that caused a negative turn into my academics, that further resulted into losing my main source of funding National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). I had tried to appeal but still no luck. I'm unable to pay for my tuition fees since both my parents passed away in 2008 and 2010 respectively. Since then, running had been the coping mechanism.

2023 season turns out be successful, surely the best ever. Top 3 in 15/21 races. With those results all my loved ones had high hopes that I will get a sports bursary unfortunate that did not happen. For now, I'm struggling with a place to stay, food and even athletics essentials that will make 2024 season even better. Staying in KZN was not ideal since the coach, good facilities for training, gym, road races for income are based here in Bloemfontein. 

My running club Pentagon Pistols is a non-profit organisation and cannot do much in my situation except paying for my race entries and if funds allow take me to national champs. The plan for this year is to improve my times that will secure a sport bursary for 2025 and seeking for any kind of job. So far that seems impossible, way too hard since I do not have a place to stay nor even have funds to pay for rent.

I humble plead anyone who might help me get a place to stay while in pursuit of getting a sport bursary that will provide more opportunities and paved a way into having a successful career.
