Cancer assistance for breast implan Campaign
Hi my name is Michelle I am 63 years old. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November. Had to have a double mastectomy in December. I had my operation at King Edward Hospital on the 13th December.I was under the impression that the government hospitals assist doing implants only to discover they don't due to lack of funds. They had to cut right up to my breast bones and I am now concaved. I am unemployed and not on medical aid. I am urgently seeking financial assistance to have this done privately.Thank you and regards. If pics are needed of my scars or further information I am happy to supply these.
My family unfortunately are not in any position to assist so my friends have suggested why I don't try the back a buddy system.
I am the beneficiary and am not sure if this should be done by someone other than me in order for clarification.
I am going into depression as I look at myself in the mirror and cannot believecwhat I look like.
I am really seeking help to raise the funds to have the implant operation privately so that I can look and feel like a proper woman should feel and look.
If I had known the government hospitals do not assist in this way I would have rather have let the cancer take its course.
Funds will be raised to have the implants done.
