Bring Music to a Child in Need Campaign

The Music Sprouts Access Program is based in the rural Tsitsikamma area of South Africa. The main goal of our program is to provide children in our area with access and exposure to music lessons and musical instruments. Through music, the potential to have a lasting impact in our community is immeasurable. Our Music School is only completing its first year, thus all expenses are currently being covered out of pocket. 

For 2024, our Music Sprouts Access Program has twelve available slots that are waiting to be sponsored and allocated to local children. A sponsorship isn't just a gift to a child in need, it feeds a passion to experience life lessons including work ethic, tolerance, integrity, problem solving, teamwork, improved academics and so much more. An instrument is also a gift of music for a child's entire family and their community.

Each Full Sponsorship will provide a child with weekly music lessons for a year, as well as access to the instruments needed to master their talents. The cost of this sponsorship is R7000, approximately 350 Euros, or approximately $380.

Music Lesson Sponsorship: The cost of a year's music lessons is R4400. One Music Lesson Sponsorship could provide up to three children with lessons for a year.

Instrument Sponsorship: The cost of an instrument is between R2000 - R5000, depending on the instrument. We try to source secondhand instruments whenever possible. This often allows us to provide instruments to multiple students with a single sponsorship.

Any other donations will go towards music books, printing costs, instrument repairs, maintenance & accessories, instrument cases & bags, as well as additional instruments for group music classes.
