Fighting for My Mom Campaign

Around 6 months ago my Mom, Alison West, was rushed into hospital with severe abdominal pain, she underwent emergency surgery where they then found a tumor in her colon. Shortly after her surgery she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Doctors were adamant that they would be able to remove the tumor and scheduled her for surgery to do just that. Two days before she was supposed to go in for the surgery she developed a blood clot in her lung, thus making the surgery impossible as she had to be put on blood thinners. The new plan from there was 3 months on the blood thinners and start the chemo for those three months and there after go back and reassess removing the tumor. Since then she has had two other set backs, one requiring another emergency surgery as well as a trapped sciatica causing my Mom to be in terrible pain.
