Help Craig get Dialysis in Ireland Campaign

Craig started his sailing since the age of 11 in his little Oppie and when he turned 14 he started sailing Mirrors and has never looked back. He won his first national championship in 2003 at Sedgefield, South Africa and this will be the 4th time he will be representing South Africa at the Mirror World Championship during July 2023 hosted by Sligo Yatch Club in Ireland. 

Craig was diagnosed in 2008 with Kidney failure and was very fortunate to receive a kidney transplant only 2 years later in 2010. In 2016 he lost the function of this kidney due to acute kidney rejection and this meant he had to start on dialysis 3 times a week for 4 hrs at a time and he has been on dialysis since. 

After many months of saving we were finally ready to book and make all the necessary arrangement to go to Ireland next month for Craig to sail. With all of these already taken care of, Craig finally had some feedback from Ireland`s dialysis centre regarding his 8 dialysis sessions he would need while in Ireland and was blown away at the cost. With his medical aid only covering a fraction of the cost, we need to urgently raise some funding for Craig to cover his dialysis during the event.
