As the head of Stay and Play Art Therapy and a beacon for the Sosebenza Youth Centre, she's shaped futures through art, education, and her transformative gardening projects.

Her journey towards becoming an Art Counsellor is a testament to her belief in the power of understanding and empathy, especially in nurturing children. Under her stewardship, the Stay and Play Art Therapy program reaches 250 children weekly, offering early childhood education to those in informal creches.

Beyond this, Mama Yandi's leadership at the Masiphumelele Creative Hub since 2017 has created a sanctuary where art transcends daily struggles.
