 Good day everybody.

This is probably the most embarrassing thing I have ever had to do. But I do not have any other choice.

I was recently Scammed out of everything I have. The amount I lost was around R36 000-00. 

I was contacted by a person on whatsapp saying that I can make money by liking youtube videos. At first I was sceptic about the whole thing but yet my curiosity got the better of me. I did what the person said and at first it work. I couldn't believe it. He/She then told me to use a link for Telegram to add the 2nd person of the scam. I did so and off we went. I was very naive thinking wow why doesn't more people know about this. I can make an alternative income while at work. In short this is how the scam works. There are 20 tasks, 16 of those tasks are liking youtube videos and 4 of the 20 tasks are prepaid tasks. The prepaid tasks are investment tasks witch consist of 3 parts. In the beginning they paid me for liking the videos and also with the smaller investments they paid. And then they had me hook line and sinker!! As soon as I made big investments and completed the 3 stages they did not pay me instead told me to first pay more before I could receive my refund. Immediately I realized I was being scammed. I opened a case with my Bank (Fraud department) and also the Police. Of witch neither could help. The front for the scam is called Starengage. Please stay far away from them as they will only cause you harm and hart ace.

After realizing I was scammed I felt ashamed, taken advantage of, humiliated, suicidal and depressed. I'm struggling to focus wholeheartedly on my work as the hole ordeal has really affected my life negatively to say the least.

I have 2 beautiful kids to support. I am just grateful that they are healthy. With that in mind it is not easy to have gratitude in my heart. But I pray everyday that the Lord can remind me how blessed I am. Regardless what has happened. I AM BLESSED. Thank you lord.

With the funds I am going to pay back the loans that I took to invest. Also the little bit of savings I had. This was the most costly and devastating lesson I have ever had to  learn.
