Our team assists the lifeguards at the Atlantis Public Pool in their Learn to Swim program, which is aimed at children and adults. This is a poor area of Cape Town and is located far from many sport outlet stores. Typically, beginner swimmers need a cap, a pair of goggles, a pull buoy and kick board to learn to swim well. While they have a good stock of kick boards at the pool, the kids and adults that attend the program, cannot afford the basic kit they need. Please help us but these items, which will be kept at the pool, for the use of everyone who attends the Learn to Swim program. A donation of any amount will be so welcomed and via our Facebook page, we will keep everyone informed of the kit we have purchased, and how it has benefit these very deserving people. Remember, learning to swim well, saves lives! It is an essential life skill!
