Natone Magazine Equipment Funding Campaign

Greetings Adventurers

Our names are Hope and Kezia Dawson and we started a print publication for the Table Top gaming space in March 2023 with the help of our dad. We are both still students and the magazine profits has contributed greatly to our university studies.

Natone Magazine is focused on the Table Top Gaming Space. This includes roleplaying games, board games, trading card games and miniature gaming.

We love the Table Top Gaming space and its ability to bring people together around a table to have fun and learn at the same time. Table Top Gaming inspires critical and strategic thinking and improves literacy and math skills, all while players have fun with friends and family.

Our magazine is very new and currently cannot support our YouTube equipment growth requirements we have been struggling with.

We have decided to ask the community to help us raise funds to improve the quality of our content creation.

Last week we lost a key piece of equipment, our Canon 2000D Camera do to it over heating while we were shooting a segment of our D&D Series.

Our upcoming D&D Series has highlighted the shortcoming of our gear and this prompted us to consult with SA Film Worx who gave us some amazing advice and pointers.

Audio and Video equipment has been our biggest challenge and we needs to urgently address it so that we can up our production quality. This problem is evident on our YouTube videos where our current gear fails us when we have more than two people on video.

Our Equipment Targets are as follows:

Priority 1: Audio Gear
R8 000 Wireless Microphones (2 x Wireless Boya BY-W4 systems) Rode is too expensive for us.
R10 000 Digital Mixer Desk (Zoom L8 LiveTrack)

Priority 2: Video Gear
R12 000 Black Magic ATM Pro ISO (Orms)
R30 000 Two Canon EOS R50 Cameras (Orms)

There is quite a bit more gear we need but we are also trying to buy as funds are available, like the lighting gear and camera stabilizers.

We really want to produce the best possible videos for all of you and are eager to reach our equipment target before Comic Con Cape Town.

As a gesture of gratitude we will be publishing the names of all those who make this dream come true in a upcoming Issue of NatOne Magazine.

We thank you all very much for your support!
