We hope this message finds you well. The safety and security of our community, families, and properties are of the utmost importance, and we are reaching out to you to seek your support for a crucial initiative – the Morehill Glen Carina Avenue Camera Initiative.

 

What is the Morehill Glen Carina Avenue Camera Initiative?

 

The initiative aims to install smart cameras along the boundary wall on the N12 highway side of Carina Avenue, addressing the weakest link in our community's security. This specific area has been identified as the source of almost all incidents in our neighborhood, and by securing it, we can significantly enhance the safety of our community.

 

Why do we need your support?

 

Crime in Gauteng is on an exponential increase, and it's crucial that we take proactive measures to protect our families, neighbors, and properties. The smart cameras will enable 24-hour monitoring of the boundary, allowing our Supercops to identify potential criminals and react in real-time to prevent crimes from happening. Moreover, the cameras will serve as valuable evidence to prosecute criminals caught in the act.

 

Progress so far:

 

The initiative is being implemented in stages, and we are pleased to announce that the first stage, covering the southeast corner of our community, has been successfully completed. Now, we are embarking on the second stage, focusing on the installation of cameras in a strategic spot as determined by Supercops.

 

How can you contribute?

 

We are launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the second stage of the initiative. Your generous contributions will go directly towards the installation of a smart camera at a location identified by Supercops as the most effective interim solution. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to creating a safer environment for everyone in our community.
