Brighter Future 68720 Campaign

Hi, my name is Jacki Lategan, mother to Jason (age 6) and Tarien Lategan (age 7 months).

As parents, we work very hard everyday to provide for our children, but in all honesty we are struggling.

I am asking here...Is there anyone who is willing to help donate towards our kids education and additional essentials?

My husband and I work 8-5  jobs and our monthly salaries are not enough. We are even struggling to pay all our bills. Together we earned R13 344.00. My husband's regular salary is R6000 per day and I get R7344 per pm + commission but as I was unemployed for 4 months the commission was not good. My husband had a second job on weekends, but the place close in November 2023. We lost the additional income of R1000 a week.
Our rent alone plus the childrens school fees is more that our monthly income.

Our children, Jason and Tarien, go to school all day. Because there is no one to look after them after standard school hours.
Their monthly school fees are as follows:
Jason R3990 PM
Tarien R3900 PM
The school fees for both of them is R 86 790 for just 2024. School supplies and other important school essentials are excluded.

Jason really wants to play Bulletjie Rugby this year but we don't know how we can pay for his fees, rugby training clothes and clothes. For Bulletjie Rugby, we are trying to get sponsors to pay these fees, but we have been unable to raise the funds. We need R150 to register him and he also needs a shirt for training on Mondays and Wednesdays, including black rugby shorts and a school rugby uniform shirt. All these items costs about R1000 at the cheapest clothing store. Our baby, Tarien also has many needs. We spend about R2000 a month for her essentials (Formula milk 2 x 1.8kg Tins pm, 200 diapers, 12 wet wipes, nappy bags, body lotion and bath drops). She has sensitive skin and gets eczema very fast and because of her sensitive skin we can't just buy any diapers, lotions, wet wipes or bath drops.

Please help us raise money to give our children a brighter future. I am happy to give financial information to those who donate. All the money raised will go to the bank account I made for the children. Only tuition fees and other necessary items for the children are paid / purchased from that account. I was able to deposit R200 in the account in November 2023 and since December 2023 our income is not been enough to add more money in it. When Tarien had the flu we had to use R179 to buy medicine in January 2024 from that account.

Please if we can raise the money, I can pay school fees, sports, etc. Then we'll be able to afford to get them new clothes and toys as all their things are hand-me-downs.
I am a proud person and I prefer to do everything myself, but nowadays it is very difficult to do that. We will not ask for or create this fundraiser unless we need the help.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this and also thank you for any donations or shares of our story.

Blessings to everyone from Lategan family..
