Help Zavion get a Prosthetic Eye Campaign

My son, Zavion (5yrs old) was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma on 29 March, 2023. Zavion had been blind in that eye for a while already and doctors decided that it was best to remove the eye due to the size of the tumour.

 

Zavion has since undergone 6 sessions of chemotherapy and various other procedures and tests. He must return to the oncology unit on 27th March 2024 for an MRI and further tests.

 

While Zavion's Childhood Cancer journey is by no means over, his doctors have advised me to get him a prosthetic eye and reading glasses asap.

 

As I had to give up my job to look after Zavion (Childhood Cancer patients need 24/7 care), and his cancer has meant incurring additional expenses to ensure that he gets to his appointments, gets all the meds he needs, and eats well to combat the cancer, there is no money for the prosthetic.

 

We kindly ask that you help our Little Fighter get a new eye so that he looks like all the other kids at school - he started Grade R this year!
