Faith in family Campaign
Hello everyone!
Last year, in October, I started an English/Afrikaans cell group for all people to join, because there are only isiZulu churches in our perimeter. What my cell group consists of is a small group of people gathering together at my house where we would read a piece out of the bible and discuss it together. We started out as about five people, but over the months our little group grew up to over thirty people. To me it's wonderful how fast the word of God spreads in this small town of ours and it's fun to meet new like-minded people who can share the message of God with me. The only predicament we came across is that my house is getting way too small to fit everyone in, thus we came to the conclusion to raise funds to build a church on my unused piece of land. To me it is important that funds are raised because every Sunday I host the cell group there are more and more new people which we would like to wish a warm welcome upon, as my family grows when people join my cell group. What the building of the church consists is as follows: buying of building materials, buying of the correct sound equipment, buying of chairs, buying of kitchenary, buying and installation of electricity and water, and anything we need that I left out. I believe that it will benefit the whole community as there are no proper churches who accommodate the English / Afrikaans language and with time it can be for weddings, funerals, baptisms and other relevant social events. In tough times like these, I remember the following scripture out of the bible, "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing to the glory that is to be revealed to us." - Romans 8:18
May God bless you all
