Gemma Telemachus Dancestar 2024 Campaign

We are filled with immense pride and excitement as we kick off this BackaBuddy campaign to secure funds for our daughter, Gemma.  She qualified to represent South Africa at the DanceStar World Masters 2024 in Croatia, an event that brings together the best dancers around the world.

Gemma has demonstrated an extraordinary passion for dance, earning her the honour of representing not only herself but our entire South African community on the global stage.  Her dedication to the art form, coupled with innate talent, has consistently earned her high marks, a testament to her exceptional skill and commitment.

We are responsible for covering all expenses of her dance package, which includes accommodation, food, entry fees and flights. She will be representing South Africa in 4 solos (Contemporary, Jazz, Open and Hip Hop) as well as 7 group dances.

Funds raised will directly cover the logistical expenses associated with Gemma's participation, alleviating the financial burden on our family. Our goal is to enable her to focus entirely on her performances, embracing the enriching experience that a global competition offers and ensuring that she can participate and contribute to the success of the South African team. Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant impact.
