HELP TAYLOR TO UNIVERSITY Campaign
Urgent Appeal for Assistance in Pursuing her LLB Degree.
I hope this message finds you well. My daughter Taylor Anderson, who has recently completed her degree in BA Law funded by Nsfas. I am writing to you all today with such humbleness and great urgency.
Upon attempting to register for her LLB degree at the University of Pretoria, she was shocked to discover that Nsfas does not provide funding (included accommodation, books, etc.) for LLB as a second degree. Unfortunately, this information was not communicated to us at the beginning of 2023, and we only became aware of this limitation a few days ago during the registration process.
Had I known earlier, I would have taken alternative measures to secure funding for her LLB by applying at other institutions for funding as financially I am not in a position to be able to pay for her LLB degree. As it stands now, with the academic year set to begin in a few weeks, we now find ourselves in a challenging and stressful situation. Taylor has been accepted into the LLB program, but without funding, she is unable to pursue her career in law and meet the requirements set by the law society. Taylor is also currently part of the University of Pretoria Women in Law Society.
Being an advocate has always been a dream of Taylor especially due to the crime rates, rape rates, assaults rates etc. in our communities due to gangsterism.
I am reaching out to seek assistance, be it small or large – every contribution matters. Any support provided will go directly towards covering the costs associated with my LLB education and will be immensely appreciated.
On receiving the assistance getting Taylor back to University of Pretoria the knowledge and skills acquired would be used within her every aspect of life, her family and especially in her career wherever she will be working and what she would be doing which in her case would be used in the courts.
Your generosity can make a significant impact on Taylor’s journey to becoming a qualified legal professional. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me directly via email [email protected]
Thank you for considering my request, and I am sincerely grateful for any assistance you can provide.
God bless you all.
Warm regards,
Cheryldene (Mother)
