Cheeky Beaks Rescue

Parrots are the third most popular pet worldwide but the most commonly re-homed. We at Cheeky Beaks Parrot Rescue believe in the five freedoms outlined by the NSPCA:

1. Freedom from thirst, hunger, and malnutrition
2. Freedom to express normal behaviour
3. Freedom from discomfort
4. Freedom from fear and distress
5. Freedom from pain, injury or disease

For our representatives & fosters to ensure these five freedoms, we need financial assistance from the community & public.

These parrots have already endured trauma due to abandonment, neglect or sickness. While in rehabilitation, they require a diet that consists of fresh vegetables & fruit, safe seeds, pellets, appropriate-size cages & lots of toys and enrichment. An Avian Specialist must also see the parrots in our care before re-homing.

Please open your hearts to these wonderful feathered ones. We work alongside private and public rescue and rehabilitation entities and focus on providing a support structure for parrot owners needing guidance and training.

We also aim to provide a haven for stray parrots found across the country until they can be reunited with their rightful owners.
