Help Zane represent South Africa Campaign

Zane Salzwedel is a talented and dedicated 16 year old cyclist who excels at both Track and Road Cycling. He has medaled in numerous events at South African National Track Champs with an S.A title and a  S.A record behind his name.

Zane stems from generations of cyclists. His late Grandad, Arthur Salzwedel, represented South Africa at Masters World cycling Track Champs and brought home a bronze and a silver medal.  His father, brothers, uncles and other relatives all cycle.  They all have cycling blood running through their veins.

Zane trains 6 days a week with a very stringent training programme.  His dream is to become a professional cyclist.

Zane has earned himself an incredible opportunity to represent his country at the African Track Cycling Continental Champs in Egypt.  Thereafter the selected junior South African team will be travelling to Apeldoorn in Holland t the Omnisport Velodrome to compete in a talent identification race called "New Generation Talent Identification Race", and hopefully thereafter, off to Ghent in Belgium for an omnium race.  Zane is expected to leave South Africa on the 7th January and return on 28 January 2024.

Unfortunately there is no funding offered to the cyclists.  All expenses fall on the cyclist.

We kindly appeal to you to support Zane Salzwedel to reach his dream of representing his country at the All African Track Champs.  Any contribution will be immensely appreciated and will assist us in helping Zane achieve his first milestone to a very promising career in cycing.
