Coles Road to African Champs Campaign
Gymnastics is not a sport often talked about and not of a lot of interest is shown in SA. A lot of you do not know the amount of physical and emotional strength that goes into this sport, hours of intense training daily and a lot of physical therapy to keep your body going. And not even mentioning the financial expenses that is required for the gymnast to compete (the leotards, Physical therapy and travel expenses).
Gymnast Cole Davids (18) and his coach Tiaan Grobler (29) are part of the ACS Gymnastics club that has been running for over 25-years. Cole recently matriculated and will be competing in the Senior Olympic category starting 2024. Tiaan and Cole will be travelling down to Centurion (Gauteng) in December to attend the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics High Performance Trials where Cole will have the opportunity to qualify for African Champs that will take place in 2024.
In January they have to travel back to Centurion (Gauteng) for a High Performance training camp and then they have to return again in March for their National Championship taking place again at Matsport Centurion. We are looking for any financial support to assist Cole & Tiaan with their travel and accommodation expenses to these trials, training camps and competitions as we are all aware of how expensive accommodation and flight tickets are.
