Neuroboreliosis Campaign

Hi

My name is Bronwyn. I’m now 46 years old and have been chronically ill and unable to work for 7 years.
I was eventually diagnosed with late stage neurological Lyme disease.
Unfortunately in December 2021, I was admitted to hospital for 3 weeks of intravenous rocephin (antibiotic that crosses the blood brain barrier). I was apparently on 2mg twice a day for 3 weeks straight.
This had disastrous effects on me as the treatment was incorrect and too much rocephin was administered and for too long. The infection was in the brain, I had vasculitis and encephalitis due to the infection being in the brain. As all the bacteria died off, especially in my brain I developed high intercranial head pressure and more brain swelling. Toxins also flooded my brain that sent me into a psychosis.
I was hospitalized for another 11 months as so much neurological damaged had occurred as a result.
My husband then decided to also file for divorce.
I am still unable to work and need some financial relief as healing from brain trauma takes time and therapy by a neuropsychologist.
I don’t really have any other support open to me.
My mom is very supportive but in a dire financial state.
I need to raise funds for my medical and legal bills and to survive through this.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
