Defeating DUT Student Debt Campaign

Dear friends, 

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the platform provided by backabuddy that facilitates such great initiatives for us, humans to come together a grant impactful opportunities to one another. As a dedicated and motivated graduate, I understand the importance of education and the challenges that many students, including myself, face in pursuing academic excellence.

My journey as a student has been marked by resilience and a strong commitment to my education. Despite facing financial hardships and unforeseen circumstances, I have remained steadfast in my pursuit of knowledge. I believe that education is the key to unlocking one's full potential and creating a brighter future.

This anticipated future is slowly dimming, as I no longer believe in it strength to change ones life. Growing up I was raised by the most loving mother and five siblings. I was adamant that achieving academic excellence was not only going to alleviate myself but also my family, as I would be the first to graduate and have a great job. I was devastated and lost for hope when my mom passed on. Before this dream of mine was a success. Till recently DUT has passed my account to debts collectors, who have proceeded to blacklist my name. As a young struggling graduate this is going to cripple my low chances to find a stable job (South Africa unemployment rate is the highest in most countries). This is a cry and request to lift this financial burden that I currently face. This support would enable me to receive my academic results and increase my chances to more secure long-term employment opportunities.

I am confident that with this assistance, I will not only overcome the current challenges but will emerge stronger, more determined, and better equipped to make a positive impact in the world. I am committed to using this opportunity to not only improve my own circumstances but also to pay it forward by helping others in need when I am in a position to do so.

In conclusion, I am sincerely grateful for your consideration and times, This support does not only support myself but, family and I can build a more stable home for them and mom.
