Outstanding balance of fees Campaign
Our names are Khululiwe Radebe and Bharita Harilall and we are both Hospital social workers employed at the state aided hospital - providing support to children and adolescents with serious and terminal illnesses. We have worked exceptionally hard last year (2023) in our studies towards the Diploma in Paediatric Palliative Medicine through UCT. The skills and knowledge learnt are already benefitting the Province's most vulnerable children. Of note the Diploma in Paediatric Palliative Care costs R57960 per person. Both of us were lucky and fortunate enough to get some funding however, there is a deficit of R5664, 94 each that we owe UCT in tuition costs. It is an expensive course.
We are therefore trying to raise the outstanding funds for ourselves as beneficiaries. We need to settle our tuition fees in order to graduate and attain our certificate.
Given the above, we make a kind and humble plea to anyone who has the capacity to donate towards this final outstanding fee cost of R11330 (R5664, 94 each for 2 social workers). Your donation and support will be highly appreciated and valued in the best interests of our children and families we serve.
The funds raised will be paid into UCT bank account and proof of payment will be made available.
Kindly find attached the statement of fees as evidence of amount due to UCT. Attached are the ID's of the two social workers concerned.
Thanking you in kind…
