Mikaeels Dream Campaign

Since a young age he has been exposed to different types of sports. He himself had said to me mommy I want to be a sprinter, a runner and a rugby player. As a mother I encouraged him to achieve his goal if he puts in the hard work. Mika-eel has since been participating in Athletics where he does 100m and long jump. His recent competition he was placed 1st in long jump for his age group and 3rd in 100m sprints in his age group. 

The passionate Mikaeel has taken on another sport. Indoor cricket and has been chosen to represent western province in a junior IPT tournament which will be happening in Mpumalanga. 

As a child growing up on the streets of the Cape Flats, exposed to gangsterism and drugs it is rare that something good comes out of the community. Being his mother I do my best to show him that you are bigger than the place you growing up in and never to forget his roots if he do make it big oneday
