My name is Zinhle Mahlangu I am a 4th year medical student, going into my fifth year of med school at wits in the year of 2024. Ever since I was a child, I have been captivated by the intricate workings of the human body and the profound impact that healthcare professionals can have on individuals and communities. This fascination has only deepened over the years, shaping my academic and personal pursuits towards a singular goal: becoming a compassionate and skilled medical professional dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others. One of the primary reasons I am drawn to medicine is its ability to merge science and humanity. Through rigorous academic training, hands-on clinical experience, and a commitment to lifelong learning, I believe that I can contribute meaningfully to the field of medicine. However, I recognize that this journey requires not only passion and dedication but also financial support to overcome the substantial costs associated with medical education.
