The KZN Netball Association has selected the KZN Action Netball team to represent KZN in Gauteng  2024. The Association has selected only 20 out of approximately 150 learners to represent KZN in the U-13 category.

The learners selected for this team are potential players for the KZN Netball and National Team in the same category. This selection and participation will give them a stepping-stone in achieving these goals, and then hopefully becoming a world leading athlete.

Every year, the South African Indoor Netball Federation (SAINF) and Action Sports, host various Inter Provincial Netball Tournaments (IPNTs) around the country. Teams are selected per Regional and on a trial basis. This is normally a few months prior to the tournament. These players are selected from the arenas within that region. They then practice as hard as they can before the tournament.

Miss Zimhlophe Gumede has been selected to represent U-13 KZN Action Netball Team.

Zimhlophe Gumede is a highly motivated and passionate Netball player student who has consistently demonstrated her talent and potential throughout her primary school sporting career. She also excels in her studies and has shown a remarkable ability to balance her academic and sporting achievements. Her achievements have earned her a place on the KZN Action Netball Team, which will be competing against other provinces at the IPNT in Gauteng in 2024. 

In order to participate in this Tournament, the costs are in the order of +/- R 20 000,00 for the Individual learner. This cost estimate includes travel, our fees registration, accommodation (including breakfast and dinner), and team gear/uniform.
