It's an incredibly exciting time for me!
In July 2024, I will represent South Africa at the IAM World Cup of Majorette-Sport in Agen, France. Currently, I am a Grade 12 student at Soneike High School in Highbury Kuilsriver.
After Covid-19 I faced many challenges, I was admitted to hospital and was seen by many doctors which included Psycologists and Psychiatrists and as a result I was diagnosed with social anxiety and generalized anxiety. The Doctors advised that i choose a sport to help me. Instead of playing netball, handball or soccer, I chose Drummies.
Facing the elements of sun, rain, and wind only fueled my passion for the sport. Enduring trials in 2023 for my Provincial colors and for my National colors it granted me the incredible opportunity to represent South Africa internationally. While I'm immensely grateful for the unwavering support of my parents and family, the obstacle I face now is financial.
Your support will directly aid in covering travel expenses, accommodation, and other necessary costs. Each contribution, regardless of its size, brings me a step closer to showcasing our talent on the global stage.
