Hello, friends!

My name is Worsie and today, 1 October 2021, is my 17th birthday! I can't count, but I think it means I am very, very old. 

If we haven't met, I am a cantankerous, adorable miniature dachshund, who loves chicken (a lot!), cuddles, walkies, and poorly burying soft toys that have been murdered (er, died of natural causes).

For my birthday, mum has helped me set up this back-a-buddy page, so that, maybe, my buddies can help me raise some biscuits for my friends at the Edenvale SPCA and they can be part of the celebration too.

We chose the Edenvale SPCA because mum knows them well, they go above and beyond to help pets of all shapes and sizes (even cats! but don't judge them for that) and do incredible work in our community. We also chose Edenvale SPCA because that is where we found my older sister Rosie, who is now in the Great Dog Park in the Sky. Rosie taught me many great things, like how to do my business outside on the grass, how to bark a DEEP BOOMIN' BORK, and how to generally be the best doggo in the world.

I know this pandemonium has been a tough time financially for many of you hoomans, so if you cannot help, that is OK, I still love you. But if you can, please consider donating some of your small shiny biscuits (it doesn't have to be many!) for my furry friends (even the cats, even the cats).

Our target is 2004 ZAR, because 2004 is the year I was born (so very, very old!).
