Hello, friends!

My name is Worsie. I am a 15-year-old miniature dachshund who loves chicken (a lot!), cuddles, walkies, and poorly burying soft toys that I murdered (er, died of natural causes).

On 1 October 2020, I will turn SIXTEEN WHOLE HOOMAN YEARS OLD. For my birthday, mum has helped me set up this back-a-buddy page, so that, maybe, my buddies can help me raise some biscuits for my friends at the Edenvale SPCA and they can be part of the celebration too.

We chose the Edenvale SPCA because mum knows them well, they go above and beyond to help pets of all shapes and sizes (even cats! but don't judge them for that) and do incredible work in our community. We also chose Edenvale SPCA because that's where my older sister Rosie, who is now in the Great Dog Park in the Sky, came from. Rosie taught me many great things, like how to do my business outside on the grass, how to bark a DEEP BOOMIN' BORK, and how to generally be the best doggo in the world, and I miss her very much.

I know this has been a tough year financially for many of you hoomans, so if you cannot help, that is OK, I still love you. But if you can, please consider donating some of your small shiny biscuits (it doesn't have to be many!) for my furry friends (even the cats, even the cats).

Update: Initially our target was R1600.00, for my 16th birthday, but because my friends are so wonderful, we reached that target within 3 hours. So, we made our new target R5840.00, as I'll be 5840 days old when I turn 16. Thank you so, so much, friends.
