Personal message
“We’re all here to make a dent in the Universe, else, why even be here?” - Steve Jobs.
These most riveting words by the late co-founder and CEO of Apple Inc are words I live my life by and truly believe in. It is for this reason that I partnered with Afrika Tikkun in my High School years ever since grade 8. In an attempt to better the world for everyone through their revolutionary Cradle to Career Model, Afrika Tikkun provides dedicated services in centres in Orange Farm, Dieplsoot, Alexandra Township and Uthando Centre which holistically develop individuals to be the best that they can be.
The Wheels of Love Crowdfunding Campaign resonates with Tikkun’s ability to deliver on the dreams of the future generations of South Africans. I have, over the years, spoken at Tikkun’s Centres to motivate and inspire the youth from a youth’s perspective and have seen first-hand the wonderful impact Tikkun’s infrastructure offers to the underprivileged in South Africa. This is why I love Afrika Tikkun and why I am raising funds to replace the old bakkie at the Alexandra Centre. The bakkie will enable the Alex Centre to deliver food parcels and heaps of happiness to the community in around Alex enabling each individual to reach their potential with Tikkun’s aid.
As an Ambassador for Afrika Tikkun and Chairman of the Afrika Tikkun Youth Council, I encourage every every active member of society in Suth Africa to play a part in reshaping the future of our nation with Tikkun’s most incredible team and initiatives!

Afrika Tikkun

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
