Personal message

Good Day,
Firstly, let me start off by saying that we never thought we'd find oureslves in this position but here we are.
Where do I start... My name is Wes Green, 45 & married to my wife Meg, of 11yrs. We have 3 rescue dogs - Sasha, Rumi & Brandy who we love to death & could never part with because as with majority of pet owners, they're not just our pets but they're part of our family.
Unfortunately, due to Covid our family business of 28yrs took quite a big hit being in the sporting field & we had to liquidate. Work was difficult to come by thereafter as being in the family business was all I knew & the inevitable outcome was not being able to pay our rent, which lead to the loss of our home.
Because I hadn't worked for more than 3 months, finding another rental was proving more & more difficult with the lack of income & bank statements being a major factor as well. We had no choice but to put all our belongings into storage except for what we were able to pack in the car with us i.e an overnight bag, 2 pillows and a blanket each. The dogs'(& their bedding) took up most of the space because their comfort is what mattered most but that is where we slept for the next few nights after being evicted.
My wife suffers with back problems, as well as a has a heart condition which requires medication so I'm constantly worrying about her health, as according to doctors' calculations, she'll require a heart transplant within the next year. We would ideally love to be able to raise the required funds to make this happen but she said that even if she were unable to have a transpalnt, then she'd at least like to live out the rest of her days as a productive member of society. With the job market & her health being what it is, she would like to start a food business as she is an AMAZING cook and we know we'd be successful at such a venture but we are in desperate need of funds to get this started for requirements such as flour, bran, yeast, milk, meat, oil, etc..

We were eventually able to find cheaper accommodation in Oudtshoorn, as accommodation fees in Cape Town itself are extremely high in comparison, slowly working our way back towards Cape Town. Our funds, as well as my parents' life savings are now depleted and we are desperate for any financial help that could possibly be afforded... Every little bit helps and we would be forever grateful.
Right now I just hope & pray for a little assistance that'll help return us to some level of society. I'm hoping that with your assistance we'll be able to (hopefully) get my wife her transplant & get our business off & running so that, at the end of the day we could live a better quality of life as well as help my mother along financially since she's supported us so unselfishly for all this time and now finds herself in need of support too.

Thank you again for your time.
God bless you!
