- VITILIGO ASSIST is a non-profit company that pays for medical treatment of VITILIGO to the poor and needy, using registered medical professionals. We also create awareness and provides emotional support and accurate information to VITILIGO sufferers and their families. We aim to support further research on VITILIGO, depending on the availability of funds.
WHAT IS VITILIGO? VITILIGO is an autoimmune disease. The skin loses its colour in patches, either centralised or over the whole body. SERVICES Health care services will be provided through a network of professionals.
We recognise the impact of VITILIGO on physical and mental wellbeing due to insensitive remarks, bullying and discrimination in general and strive to provide support in this regard.
