Personal message

A 3-year journey began with ovarian cancer and took a nasty turn. On July 28, 2022, I underwent a full abdominal hysterectomy to remove everything cancerous at that stage. Shortly after, cancer was detected in other organs—bladder, pancreas, spleen, and spine. I became part of an international trial program, and procedures and treatment commenced. Despite doctors having little hope, my faith, talent, supporters, and singing carried me through. Every time bills had to be paid, I worried, but God made a way every time.

Having paid over R100,000 with only R35,000 to go, I've reached a point where my resources are depleted. I continued singing through my treatment program, recognizing my responsibilities. Supporters, both old and new, contributed to my journey. Now done with treatment, I'm thankful for another chance at life. However, the reality of needed MRI, CT scans, and biopsies to ensure the aggressive cancer hasn't spread elsewhere poses a financial challenge.

Facing a crucial decision, I contemplate reaching out on platforms like BackaBuddy or stopping all tests and hoping for the best. I strongly lean against the latter, having come this far. I appeal to everyone reading this message to open their hearts. I aspire to live my dream and continue my singing career for years to come. Perhaps one day, I'll be singing for you.
