Personal message
This year, I dedicate my Cape Town Cycle Tour 2017 to Afrika Tikkun.
With 60% of young people unemployed, Afrika Tikkun ensures that young people are provided with development programmes that safeguard that today’s young people are tomorrow’s productive citizens.
Just R10 986 per annum will assist us to empower a young person with skills that give them opportunities for them to be employable and helps facilitate them, upon graduation, into employment or self-employment.
To date, over 2500 young people have benefitted from our Youth Skills Development and placement programme. Over 40% of those trained are now in entry level jobs, learnerships, internships or are self-employed.
Please invest in the youth and help me reach my target for this awesome cause!

Afrika Tikkun

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
