Personal message
This year has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. In March 2023, I faced job loss due to false accusations and character defamation, leading me to enter the challenging entertainment sector. However, my health declined, resulting in multiple hospital admissions.
In February, I experienced severe respiratory distress, incurring an outstanding excess of R2800. April brought another hospitalization for seizures and low blood pressure, with a remaining excess of R4235. June marked a hospital admission for ovarian cysts, with an outstanding excess of R3250. In September, an emergency room visit for a burst stomach ulcer left me with outstanding medical bills from various providers.
November brought another hospital admission for ovarian cysts, with an outstanding excess of R4280. Throughout December, I battled severe illness, hindering my ability to work, relocate, and register for studies in 2024. The cumulative medical expenses amount to R21,985.
On top of this, I have a credit card debt of R4200 and monthly living expenses, including;
- Rent (R6000)
- Groceries (R2500)
- School fees (R3200) which will resume next year.
Additionally, university registration in 2024 costs R24,000.
I'm aiming to cover my medical expenses by year-end to prioritize my daily needs, my daughter's education, and my own studies. Despite securing a three-day teaching post at a Cambridge School starting on January 15th, the financial challenges of this year persist.
Any and all help is immensely appreciated as I strive to overcome the financial burdens and build a stable foundation for the future. Your support will make a significant difference in navigating these challenges.
