Dear all,
I'm Tyla Koopman, a 17-year-old student at UCT Online High School. Living with chronic migraines and Raynaud's disease since I was eleven has posed significant challenges in my life. The side effects of treatments have made consistent medical care difficult.
These chronic conditions have affected my education, forcing me into online learning due to frequent absenteeism. Additionally, a kidney infection and chronic UTI have persisted, causing immense pain and numerous doctor visits monthly. I'm currently awaiting an appointment with a urologist and dealing with symptoms of Fibromyalgia.
Juggling four chronic illnesses has become overwhelming, impacting my ability to work or socialize. My mother, a single parent, is currently unemployed and unable to cover any expenses.
The funds raised will support my tuition fees and medical expenses. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will be immensely appreciated.
