Personal message

I recently became a father again and my outlook on life changed completely.  I want to make an impact on the lives of vulnerable children during these challenging and uncertain times.  

I'm going to run the Two Oceans Marathon around my garden.  Same cut off times and I will be running as if my bus was with me. I know you will all be in my heart, but I challenge you to join me and make a difference.  Yup, you read that right! I don't live in a mansion and I may get dizzy.

Rainbows and Smiles is a charity close to my heart.  I met 2 grieving mothers and I was overwhelmed by their passion and dedication to their mission.  Both these ladies working in memory of their sons.  I have a new-born son and I couldn't imagine my life without him.

The charity is dedicated to providing assistance in the form of emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child or children of that family is diagnosed with cancer or a life-threatening illness.

Rainbows and Smiles are already working with medical teams to offer support for Covid-19.  Please support me and this wonderful cause as I try to raise R20 000.  You can donate R1 per km as every cent counts.
