Friends and family as the Late Icon once said "It seems impossible Until it is Done" let's all come together and join efforts to raise funds and assist the less fortunate. Especially the kids who travel longer distances to school without shoes and uniforms and the girls who skip classes due to natural causes they don't have sanitary towels.

The Icons Journey Marathon Foundation

 We are The Icons Journey Marathon Foundation, A nonprofit subsidiary of The Icons Journey Marathon (Pty) Ltd multi-sporting event.

We are looking to raise enough funds to continue the good work we started in 2018 through our CSI initiative named Promote Sport For Social Change. We are promoting the sport to uplift our underprivileged rural and township communities. Over the years special focus has been on the schools in these communities.
Funds raised from this 400km Iconic Challenge will benefit over 4000 of these school kids in school shoes, sanitary towels, sports kits Nationally.

The event takes place in Eastern Cape in three district municipalities namely (Amathole, Chris Hani, and O.R Tambo Districts). Funds raised will however benefit schools Nationally.

Since 2018 we have been able to raise funds that have benefited over 500 village and township school pupils. With this initiative, we will amplify this number.
