 SOMETHING DIFFERENT THIS FATHER’S DAY

09 JUNE 2024 FUNDRAISER BY TRIPLE MMM

What are you planning for Father’s Day this year?

Socks or a good pair of running shoes?

If that is the plan, Dad will be on the road taking part in the challenge of running in the 97th Comrades race from Durban to Pietermaritzburg together with 23 000 athletes including 70-year-old Barry Holland, who will be running his 50th Comrades and currently holds the record for the most Comrades finishes. At the end of last year’s Comrades, Barry had wise words to share with those who wanted to take on the Ultimate Human Race.

“Running Comrades is not impossible, it is just building up layer upon layer.  It’s quite amazing how you will get there”.

Alternatively, Dad might be watching the race on TV or streaming the 12-hour event covering a distance of approximately 87km.

Treat Dad to something completely different this year.
