Personal message

I am a second year student at Stellenbosch University. In my first year in 2023, I was funded by NSFAS until the middle of the second semester. My funding was suddenly ceased due to "Missing Documents". This was surprising because these are the documents I submitted to be approved in the first place. I appealed and resubmitted the documents, by December - I was notified that NSFAS had retracted the entire tuition they had paid for the whole year - and that I was expected to pay the tuition, accommodation, textbook, and living allowance I received before I can register in the new academic year.
