Personal message

Hi, I am passionate about South Africa, sport and just love a new challenge. I started competing in triathlons in 2018 when a buddy of mine entered me into the 70.3 Ironman in East London. It was a great experience and challenged me both physically and mentally.

My younger brother was born with a cleft lip and palate and had to go through many operations and endure a lot of pain. Luckily we have awesome parents and they made it their mission to give him all the medical help, love and support he needed. He was lucky compared to others that cannot afford the treatment and have to face life and its many challenges alone.

My reason for joining the 2020 Smile Foundation Ironman Team is to create awareness and generate funds for those who need it and hopefully inspire others to take the first step and make a difference.  

I am racing Ironman 70.3 in Durban in June 2020.  Support my race by making a donation to assist children in need of plastic & reconstructive surgery.
