Personal message
Every year, generous Mamelani Movers participate in the Cape Town Cycle Tour to raise funds for our organisation Mamelani Projects - a Cape Town-based NGO that builds resilience in marginalised communities.
This year, Leroy de Klerk, Lewis Kalombo, Adjmali Kwitonda, Arafat Gatabazi and Siphosethu Kibido ride for ProSeed (Mamelani’s Youth Development Programme).
We are so excited about this team! It brings together some current ProSeed staff members, some previous programme participants and a young person currently in our programme. Three generations of ProSeeders are on the move together!
We are determined to show Mamelani's participants and the larger community that we believe in the work that this programme does. We also want to challenge ourselves physically and build resilience within ourselves while raising funds for our programme!
Our hope is that running this campaign will be an opportunity for the Mamelani community to get to know the ProSeed Youth Development Programme a little bit better.
We are very happy about training, campaigning and racing together as team ProSeed!

Mamelani works with people to increase their sense of agency and ability to improve their own lives. We work with young people coming out of state care through our Youth Development Programme and with women through our Health Education Programme.
